Celebrating international video art and experimental film, at the Edinburgh Artists’ Moving Image Festival (EAMIF) you can discover an eclectic programme of artists who challenge ideas of what we might expect to see on screen.
We have grown rapidly since last year and our 2016 festival shall have events at Filmhouse, The Fruitmarket Gallery, Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh College of Art and Collective Gallery. Highlights include our symposium on Gender and the moving image, screenings of films from across the world, and special presentations of Emma Finn’s and Edward Thomasson’s works and an evening focused on African video art. Check out our full programme for more, and have a look at our package ticket deals. We also have a variety of talks, Q&A and specially commissioned texts, so there is plenty of room of debate, questions and discussion.
All venues are accessible, and the symposium and the Take Time: EAMIF Showcase screening will both have BSL interpretation for talks and Q&As and subtitles in English on films.
